My name is Sizomu, and I am the founder of Youth of Purpose (YOP). When I began this work, my aim was to give children care, safety, and hope for a brighter future. It has not always been easy, and there have been times when YOP struggled to continue. I am grateful to everyone who has stood with me along the way—those who have offered encouragement, given their time, and helped care for the children. Your support has reminded me that this work is not mine to carry alone. When YOP was close to collapse, the NewBorn Project in Switzerland came alongside us. Their support helped us continue our work and care for the 54 children. I am deeply thankful to NewBorn and to everyone who has supported us through them. THE NEW BORN PROJECT

SWITZERLAND

On 28 October 2024 we welcomed members of the new born project to Uganda . paving way to the most fruit full partnership. lives have been transformed

Growing Health in Our Community

With support from NewBorn, Youth of Purpose helps families access HIV testing. Through our farm, we hope to provide nutritious food to improve infants’ health and give them a stronger start in life

Building a Better Place to Grow

With funding from the NewBorn Project in Switzerland, Youth of Purpose has improved our children’s home by adding showers, renovating dormitories, and building a dining hall and kitchen. These facilities give the children a cleaner, safer, and more comfortable place to live, eat, and grow.

Child sponsorship

Through the NewBorn Project ,we have managed to get individual sponsors in Europe support children at Youth of Purpose. Their generosity helps us care for the children and meet their needs.

Children’s Day Outings

Whenever the sponsors visit Uganda, they treat the children to a special day out. It’s a chance for everyone to spend time together, enjoy new experiences, and make happy memories.

Evangelism

With support from the NewBorn Project, Youth of Purpose has been able to share the message of God’s love with the children and provide each child with a Bible. The children use them to read Scripture, learn about Jesus, and grow in their faith together.
